St Malachy’s Primary children given ‘be safe be seen’ visit

Pupils in P6 and P7 at St Malachy’s Primary School in Armagh City this week had a visit from Armagh PCSP to highlight Road Safety Week.

PCSP Officers Stephanie Rock and Patricia Gibson met both classes to talk to them about the importance of being seen when they are walking to and from school especially in the darker winter nights.

Wearing bright clothing and finding a safe place to cross were two of the important messages the PCSP officers emphasised to the children.

High Visibility ‘smiley’ stickers were given to all the P6 and & P7 kids to put on their school bags to make them more visible and these are available to other schools in the area by contacting Patricia Gibson on 02837529646 or emailing pcsp@armagh.gov.uk.
