A full inquest into the death of Tandragee ‘flying doctor’ John Hinds is due to take place in October.
In the meantime, the coroner has asked that a risk assessment be carried out by organisers of the Skerries 100 races.
A brief inquest hearing into Dr Hinds’ death took place in Dublin on Tuesday.
And during the course of that, the inquest heard that Gardai were still trying identify a person who had posted video footage online of the event at which the incident happened which cost the Craigavon Area Hospital anaesthetist his life.
Dr Hinds died in hospital after a crash which happened during a practice session for the Skerries 100.
His motorcycle had been in collision with a wall which had been closed to facilitate the annual race meeting.
Alan Keating, counsel for the medic’s family, said the documentation provided to date did not constitute a risk assessment, which should identify risks associated with the course in question and how these should be dealt with.
He had, at an earlier hearing in May, raised concerns over the road closure put in place by Fingal County Council.
The crash happened on Friday, July 3, 2015, as Dr Hinds had been following motorcyclists on a practise session prior to the main races on the Saturday.
The full hearing is due to take place at Dublin Coroner’s Court on October 18.
