If all you want for New Year is a new kitchen, then take a look at Woodstock Panels

The kitchen has long been regarded as the heart of the home and no more so than at Christmas when it’s the focal point for delicious food, celebration and cosy family get-togethers.

And having a kitchen that not only works from a practical point of view but looks good too can make a world of difference all year round.

Woodstock Panels, which was established and trading in the UK  and expanded into Northern Ireland in January, offers a complete kitchen service, right through from design to installation.

The company is owned by Tommy Madden, who is helped by son James, and complements their successful Discount Furniture and Appliances business in Lurgan.

Although it is only in its first year, the quality of the workmanship and competitive prices are already paying dividends with the company having won a contract to supply and fit the kitchens for a new housing development in Laurelvale.

Said James: “Our workshop carpenter and fitters have over 40 years’ experience in the trade.

“Woodstock have had a huge number of homeowners who have been replacing kitchens as well as new-build clients who leave as very satisfied customers and recommend the company.

“In addition to our full kitchen services, we also offer members of the public and the trade a cash and carry for kitchen products such as units, doors, worktops and sinks etc due to the vast array of stock at guaranteed prices.”

The kitchen showroom is based at the firm’s premises at Unit 17, Annesborough Industrial Estate,  while there is also a separate workshop at 136 Ballygassoon Road, Loughgall, BT61 8JU.

And choosing and buying a new kitchen doesn’t need to be daunting, as James points out.

He said customers should firstly think about what design and colour of kitchen they would like as well as practical considerations such as whether to keep their appliances or not.

After that, it’s a matter of measuring the space and then visiting one of the firm’s designers who can discuss the ideas, produce a computer aided design of the finished product and provide a quote.

“Once you have decided on the layout, door and worktop finishes, a specialist fitter will carry out a pre-fit technical survey to ensure everything will fit perfectly into place. The same fitter will come back for the installation,” said James.

Anyone thinking of updating or changing their kitchen is welcome to go along to either the showroom in Lurgan or the workshop in Loughgall, have a look at the Facebook page or call 028 3754 8267 or 07933058916.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, and Saturday 9am-1pm.

Customers are also welcome to use their High Street vouchers towards their new kitchen.
