Yet another break-in and a family are forced to count the cost on the mouth of Christmas.
Thieves determined to heap misery on others to line their pockets have been out in force in recent weeks.
On this occasion, it was a home at Castle Rise in Tandragee which was targeted.
The culprits made off with an iPad and a laptop during the break-in.
The police are investigating the incident, which happened on Friday night.
It is the latest in a spate of burglaries in the borough.
And just last weekend there were reports of a raid at a house at Moody Park in Scarva.
There have been other burglaries at Bessbrook, Loughgall, Tassagh, Newtownhamilton, and Tandragee, among others.
Less than three weeks ago, a Hamiltonbawn grandmother, Mary Montgomery, was left devastated after items of great sentimental value, including precious jewellery which can never be replaced, were taken.
The burglars ransacked her home, on the Ratarnet Road, in a matter of minutes before making good their escape.
Lord Mayor Gareth Wilson has again called on people to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police on the non-emergency number 101.
He asked people to look out for their neighbours and help do all they can to thwart those intent on stealing from and terrorising hard-working people in their own homes.
