Watch: Comedian Fabu D aka ‘Black Paddy’ visits Tandragee to taste test Tayto

Black Paddy in Tandragee

It has been an age-old debate for many a year; which Tayto is better…

Well, Dublin-based comedian and entertainer Fabu-D, aka ‘Black Paddy’ arrived in Tandragee on Friday – home of Tayto Castle – to see what all the fuss was about.

Despite struggling with the pronunciation of Tandragee, from the Irish Tóin re Gaoith, which translates as ‘backside to the wind’, the comedian was given a warm welcome.

Black Paddy headed towards the local Spar in the town where he happened upon three young teens, who after a quick search of their phones realised, they were in the presence of someone known all around Ireland.

“You’re famous,” they enthused, before pleading, “can we do a TikTok with you?”

After a bit of debate on what crisps would be best put to the taste test, it was cheese and onion that got the nod!

Was Black Paddy impressed? Check out his video, which has over 3,000 likes so far, below.
