A long-established pub in Keady town centre has gone on the market.
The Close – previously The Sportsman – which has been described as a “traditional Irish pub” went up for sale earlier this week.
While no asking price has been made available, it’s a three storey property prominently located on the town’s main street.
Marketed by Peter Cullen and Son, potential buyers could be taking on a fully-licensed business with the property offering “ample opportunities for expansion with first and second floor accommodation and an extensive yard and stores to the rear”.
Recently, the first floor was home to The Funky Bagel, therefore the property comes with recently refurbished restaurant facilities and the “opportunity for instant business in this well established trading location”.
The first floor also includes a one-bedroom self-contained apartment while the second floor has a two-bedroom self contained apartment.
Meanwhile, the Pheasant Lodge in Gilford has also gone on the market.
For around £150,000 this former licensed premises – and adjoining residential home – could be yours.
It is currently fitted out as a bar and operated as such up until recently. It also contains a function room.
