Detectives from Serious Crime have charged a third man in connection with a serious sexual assault in Portadown on Monday, August 25.
The 33-year old has been charged with rape and is due to appear at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court later this morning, Saturday, September 13.
A 21-year-old man who was arrested has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
Yesterday, Friday, two Roman nationals appeared at Craigavon Magistrates’ Court charged with rape.
Ioan Aurel Lacatus, 24, and 20-year-old Aurel Teglas, of Corcrain Drive, were both remanded in custody to appear again via videolink on September 19.
