Police in Newry arrested three people following incidents in Parkview Drive last night, Wednesday, and today, Thursday, March 19.
Around 8.15pm on Wednesday police received a report of two males making threats to kill the occupants of a house in Parkview Drive.
Officers attended but the two had left the area.
At 10.20pm police received a report of windows being broken at the same house.
Officers attended and two 19-year-olds were arrested.
One was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, assault on police, criminal damage, disorderly behaviour, harassment, possession of Class A drugs, resisting police, threats to damage property and threats to kill.
He appeared before Banbridge Magistrates’ Court earlier today, Thursday.
The second 19-year-old was released on bail pending further enquiries.
In a second incident police received a report of a female making threats to the occupants of a house in Parkview Drive today, Thursday.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old female for threats to kill.
She is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
