Keady has been nominated for an All-Ireland competition which acknowledges the work that communities are doing all over the island.
It is one of three going forward from the new Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area.
The IPB Pride of Place awards are organised in association with Co-operation Ireland.
The competition’s focus is about people coming together to shape, change and improve daily lives in their communities.
Entries can only be made by local authorities and Keady is one of three chosen by the council.
Also nominated are the Scotch Street Youth Club in Portadown and The Right Key, based in Dromore.
Official judging is due to take place on September 1 and 2.
It will be followed by the Pride of Place 2015 Awards ceremony, which will take place at Treacy’s West County Hotel, Ennis, Co Clare on Saturday, November 14.
Council officials will join with representatives of the nominees to attend the event.
