A collision just outside Armagh city caused havoc for hundreds of motorists this morning.
Vehicles were forced to divert off the main Armagh to Portadown road following the one-vehicle crash close to Stonebridge roundabout.
There are no reports of any injuries and the PSNI said they are waiting for a recovery vehicle to take away the crashed car but until then the road would remain closed.
Elsewhere, police are advising motorists travelling on the A1 northbound to seek an alternative route following a two vehicle crash.
Traffic is heavily congested in this area with vehicles being diverted onto Blackskull Road. If you are travelling northwards please consider the alternative route of leaving the A1 at Banbridge, travelling to Moira and onto the M1 from there.
The A1 is also closed southbound with traffic being diverted through Dromore town.
All motorists should allow extra time for their journey.
