Police have uncovered a substantial cannabis factory in Portadown.
Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Wright said: “Officers carried out a search at a house in Church Street in Portadown earlier today and uncovered a very sophisticated cannabis factory. At this time we believe this factory to contain plants worth somewhere in the region of half a million pounds.
“Two men have been arrested by police on suspicion of a range of drugs offences and are currently in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
“The plants, cultivation equipment and associated paraphernalia will be now removed from the property and the total value of plants and any drugs present will be verified.”
