Police have issued detailed of description of two thugs who assaulted a teenager and stole her mobile phone.
The robbery and assault happened between 2am and 3am on Sundy, May 17.
The girl had been walking along Mandeville Road when she was approached by two men.
Both spoke to the 19-year-old before they assaulted her and stole her phone.
Detective Constable Smyth appealed for information and issued descriptions of the culprits.
He said: “The first male is described as being between 24 and 25 years old, approximately 5ft 11in tall and heavily built with a dark brown goatee. He was wearing dark trousers which were ripped at the knees and a dark jacket.
“The second male is described as being around 20 years old, approximately 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with very short, dirty fair hair. He was wearing a fleece type jumper with a shirt underneath, navy jeans and Nike Air Max trainers.
“We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident or has information which may assist our investigation. We can be contacted in Lurgan on 101, quoting ref: 490 170515.”
