Police in Portadown are appealing for information following two attempted burglaries.
Constable Lindsay Crawford said: “Sometime between 8.50am and 5.45pm on Saturday, 6 December, the front door of a house in Thomas Street was forced open. It is believed the house was entered however nothing was taken.
“In a second incident entry was forced to the front door of a house in Carleton Street around 7pm on the same day. The intruder became aware of the occupant in the house and made off on foot towards Church Street.
“We are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to either of these incidents to contact us in Portadown on 101.”
