Armagh Neighbourhood Policing Team arrested two males following a fire at a vacant property in Langs Crescent.
At 8.42pm on Wednesday, 13 March, police received a report of a fire. Police and NIFRS attended. It was determined that the fire was malicious.
Two males were observed close to the scene and made off. Officers gave chase and apprehended two males, aged 21 and 25, who were subsequently arrested. The two males were interviewed and later released pending report to the PPS.
Constable Glasgow, Armagh NPT, said: “We would like to thank the public for their assistance during this incident which helped us to apprehend two people. This shows how we can successfully tackle and detect crime when we work together.”
