A warning has been issued to youths who have been spotted climbing on the roof St Brendan’s Primary School in Moyraverty, Craigavon.
Police have received a number of reports in relation to youths on the roof.
Damage has been caused to tiles and other parts of the roof.
Constable Kevin Crossey said: “We are very concerned that someone is going to be injured if this activity continues.
“Not only are the young people causing damage to the school, the cost of which has to be met by the school and takes money away from other resources, but there are taking real chances with their safety.
“We are asking young people to stay away from the school and also asking parents to speak to their children about the dangers of climbing on to roofs and also the consequences of becoming involved in crime.
“We would also ask anyone who observes any suspicious activity around schools to contact us on 101.”
