Weir, (Bessbrook) June 1, 2026, passed away (peacefully) at home surrounded by his loving family. Late of 27 Main St, Bessbrook, Co Armagh.
Alan, dearly beloved husband of Lorna, loving Dad to Stephen (Tara), Mark (Stephanie) and Robert (Andrea), cherished Granda Alan to Harry, Sophie, Emily and Kenzie, dearest son of the late Noel and Lila, brother of David, Irene, Noel and Caroline, much loved uncle, brother-in-law and friend.
Alan’s remains will repose Tuesday and Wednesday 12pm-2pm and 5pm-8pm at Mallon’s Funeral Home, Mill Rd, Bessbrook BT35 7DT.
Funeral cortège will pass Fountain St Bessbrook on foot at approximately 10:30am on Thursday for 11am Funeral Service in Christ Church Bessbrook, followed by cremation service for family and close friends in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his sorrowing family circle and many friends.
Family flowers only, respectfully, donations in lieu to Evora Hospice Newry in Alan’s name.
