The death has occurred of Ann Tavey (Newry, formerly Monaghan)

Tavey, (Newry) May 3, 2022, (peacefully) at Daisy Hill Hospital surrounded by her family, late of “Drumoyne” 49 Dublin Road and formerly of Longfield, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

Ann, (née Brady) dearly beloved wife of the late recently deceased Peter and cherished mother of Peter, Mary and Colette, loving grandmother of Dean, Laura, Rebecca, Emma, Aaron and Cailam and dear sister of the late Mary and Seamus.

Ann’s remains will repose at the Heaney Keenan Funeral Home, 39 Patrick Street, Newry (temporary funeral home) on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm followed by removal to her late residence. House strictly private for family only.

Funeral on Friday at 11.30am for Requiem Mass at 12noon in the Church of the Assumption, Drumalane followed by burial in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Broomfield, Co. Monaghan to arrive at 2pm. Requiem Mass can be viewed online here.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing son, daughters, sons-in-law Brian and Dean, daughter-in-law Roisin, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and the entire family circle.
