The death has occurred of Betty Agnew (Crossmaglen)

Agnew, (nee Lambe)(Crossmaglen) November 13, 2023, (peacefully) from this life into the arms of our Lord, surrounded by her loving family, late of Courtbane, Hackballscross and formerly Mullacrew. Betty, beloved wife of Thomas, devoted mother of Katie, Eamonn, Shane, Thomas, Kevin and Louise, dear mother in law of Chris, Stephen, Gemma, Aoife and Aisling. Cherished grandmother of Cody, Tadhg, Charlie, Rhys, Darragh, AnnieRose, Caoimhe, Christopher, RubySue, Zia, Leah, Robyn and Cillian, predeceased by her parents Joseph and Gertie Lambe RIP and brother Brendan RIP, loving sister of Maura (Farrell), Zita (Byrne), Bernadette (Mc Cabe), Josephine (Burns) and Patricia (Savage).

Removal from McConville’s Funeral Home, Crossmaglen at 6pm on Monday evening (visitors welcome from 5:30pm) to her late residence at Courtbane, Hackballscross. Wake visiting times: Tuesday and Wednesday all day (House strictly private on Monday Night and on Thursday Morning). Funeral on Thursday November 16, leaving her home at 10:30am to The Sacred Heart Church, Shelagh arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, daughters, sons, sons, in law, daughters in law, 13 grandchildren, sisters, brothers in law Nicholas, Patsy, Kevin, Patsy, Dennis RIP, Joseph and Shay, sisters in law Kathleen (Lavelle) and Meg RIP, nephews, nieces, extended Agnew and Lambe families, neighbours and many friends.
