McCann, (Lurgan) October 23, 2024, (peacefully) in his 87th year, surrounded by his family, late of Clonbalt Lane, Longford and formerly of Lurgan, Co. Armagh. Hugh, pre-deceased by his parents, sisters Maureen, Patricia and Phyllis, brother Sean and by his dear wife Cecilia.
Hugh will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, daughters Marie McGuinness (Dublin) and Bernadette (Mullingar), sons Gerard (Dublin) and Hugh (Exeter, U.K.), sister Ethna (Lurgan), daughters-in-law Fiona and Susan, sons-in-law Ray and Alan, sister-in-law Joan, brothers-in-law Liam, Kevin and Michael, grandchildren David, Raymond, Hugh, Jude, Lucas, Alec and Martha, great-granddaughters Erin and Aimee-rae, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral Home, Ballinalee Road (N39 EC81) on Friday October 25, from 6.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Saturday October 26, at 12 noon in St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes, interment afterwards in Ballymacormack cemetery.
