Byrne, (Culloville) March 9, 2023, (peacefully at home) aged 89, formerly Drumacavoy, Inniskeen, in the tender care of his family. Joseph (Joey), predeceased by his beloved wife Bernadette and son Barry RIP, cherished father of Majella (Hatzer) and Conor, dear father in law of Martin, devoted grandfather of Joe and Liam, son of the late Joe and Minnie RIP, loving brother of the late Patsy, Mary (King) and Annie (Woods).
Reposing at McConville’s Funeral Home, between 4-5pm on Friday evening. Removal at 5.15pm to his late residence at 20 Malachy Conlon Pk, Culloville (via Sheelagh, Inniskeen Grattans GAA, Drumacavoy). Wake visiting times : Saturday and Sunday 12-9pm.
Funeral on Monday, 13th March, leaving his home at 10:15am (house strictly private on Monday morning) to St Patrick’s Church, Crossmaglen, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Livestream of Mass available via the parish webcam here. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired, to Marie Curie.
Deeply regretted by his sorrowing daughter, son, son in law, grandsons, extended Byrne, King and Morris families, neighbours and many friends.
