Byrne, (Newry) November 28, 2023, (peacefully) in the loving care of Our Mother of Mercy Home surrounded by her loving family. May (née Sands) dearly beloved wife of the late Gerry McCann and Pat Byrne and cherished sister of Bridie Conlon, John, Peter, Francis, Kieran and the late Seamus, Hugh, George, Gerald, Sr. Maoil Iosa, Madge Daly and Kathleen McGrath.
May she Rest In Peace.
Mary’s remains will repose at the Sands’ family home, 29 Cargabane Road, Donaghmore on Wednesday and Thursday from 5pm – 8pm. Funeral on Friday at 10.30am for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Chapel Street, Newry. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sorrowing sister, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and the Sands McCann and Byrne family circle.
