The death has occurred of Nora Hill (Coolock formerly Blackwatertown)

Hill, (Blackwatertown)(née Traynor) May 14, 2024, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the staff of Tara Winthrop Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family, late of Coolock and formerly of Blackwater, County Armagh. Nora Brigid, loving mother of Gerald, Joseph, Ann and Maria. Nora will be sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law Anthony and Paul, daughter-in-law Sandra, and Gerald’s partner Sandra, treasured grandchildren Craig, Darryl, Anthony, Amy, Sarah, Sophie, Rachel, Conor, Emma, Jack and Alisha, granddaughter-in-law Ellen, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Heaven gained a beautiful angel, our precious mum and nanny. The most maternal, gentle, kind, fierce, protective, strong woman. Every trait you need in a Mum. She taught us so much about life and what’s important. Mum to 4, grandmother to 11 – a great Mum, we will miss her dearly.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Strand Road, Portmarnock on Thursday May 16, from 2pm to 4pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of St. Luke the Evangelist, Kilmore West, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am, followed by cremation service in Dardistown.
