Hughes, formerly of 68 High Street, Newry and latterly 3 Mountain View Drive, Armagh Road, Newry. 4th September 2020, peacefully at Southern Area Hospice. Victor – R.I.P. Partner of Bridie, brother of Eileen Haughey, Brendan Hughes (Peterborough) and Derek Hughes (Kircudbright, Scotland), father of Mark (Spain), Caroline (Newtownabbey) and Stephanie (Australia), grandfather to five grandchildren and uncle to his nieces and nephews.
Requiem Mass on Monday (7th September) at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in St. Mary’s cemetery. Sadly, due to the ongoing health crisis and Public Health guidelines the Mass will be restricted to family and close friends but can be viewed HERE
