ARMAGH City Football Club will kick-off the new season by staging their annual general meeting.
It will be held in the Holm Park clubrooms on Thursday evening, August 8, at 8pm sharp.
All full members are invited to attend this important meeting to receive updates on the continued running of Armagh City FC.
This is an important season for the club – with possible promotion high on the priority list.
Development of the new 3G pitch is continuing but, it is understood, early fixtures may have to be rearranged in order to facilitate its completion. However, more details on this issue will be discussed at the AGM.
The election of officers and committee will also take place and there will be updates on the club’s current financial position. This will be a busy year for Armagh City Football Club and all positive input will be most welcome.
To start the season off on the right foot it has been decided to run a barbecue at the clubrooms on Saturday evening, August 10, from 5pm.
On the same day, at 2pm, Armagh City Reserves will play a crucial Kennedy Cup match against Orchard City in The Cage, next door to Holm Park.
Hopefully, local fans will turn out to support this young and exciting second-string outfit who have already captured the prestigious Armstrong Cup this year!
After this game there will be live English Premier League football on the ‘big screen’ for the benefit of members and guests.
All in all, both August 8 and August 10 should not to be missed!
