The County Antrim outfit have just one win in the league this season from seven starts – although they did get their best result of the season last weekend!
A 4-0 home win against Wakehurst will certainly give them confidence when they arrive to play a buoyant and unbeaten Armagh outfit.
City will be without their ‘September-Player-of-the-Month, midfielder Eamon Kelly, who is recovering from injury but will be boosted by the return of central defender Ultan Lennon to the squad.
The local side are still unbeaten on their new-look 3G pitch and will be favourites to retain their top-spot in the championship.
However, City will have to be at their best once again against a team who have made life difficult for them in the recent past.
Armagh were in tremendous form against Annagh United last Saturday and, in a 35-minute period in the opening half, put the match result beyond all doubt with a four-goal blast which completely devastated the opposition.
Once again it was a powerful all-round squad performance, with left wing-back Ryan McGerrigan being pushed all the way for the man-of-the-match tag by several team-mates.
Armagh were strong in every department and, apart from two early scares, had a tight grip on the match throughout.
And, when they did concede a goal on the hour mark, simply upped the pace and quickly replied to stretch their lead to four once again.
A similar performance this weekend should bring City maximum points.
The Armagh City v Glebe Rangers Belfast Telegraph Championship Two match kicks-off on Holm Park, Armagh, at 3pm. All welcome.
