TANDRAGEE Rovers have retained the Mid-Ulster Football League’s Premier Cup after a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Camlough Rovers at Crystal Park in Banbridge last night (Thursday).
The Mid-Ulster Intermediate side collected the trophy thanks to a smart 46th minute header from Cecil Corbet, with Paul Greenaway doubling their advantage late in the game.
The trophy was Ernie Greenaway’s first since replacing Stephen McBride in the summer.
There were concerns that the game might be postponed, but Banbridge Town’s ground passed a late inspection.
