ARMAGH recorded an emphatic 8-26 to 1-02 Ladies Football League win over Wexford to mark their return to home soil in style.
The Intermediate All-Ireland champions opened their league campaign with a draw in Down last weekend before a goal blitz helped them ease to a comfortable win over hapless Wexford on Sunday.
Captain Caroline O’Hanlon led the way with a contribution of 2-05 while Caitlin Malone and Sinead McCleary also hit goal braces as Armagh put on a remarkable attacking display.
Kelly Mallon (1-04) and substitute Caroline O’Hare (0-06) also took advantage of slack defending as James Daly’s side laid down a marker before next week’s trip to Sligo.
