THE possibility of a MacRory Cup Final derby remains intact after St. Paul’s Bessbrook avoided St. Colman’s Newry in the semi-final draw today.
After defeating neighbours Abbey CBS in the quarter-final last week, St. Paul’s will now face St. Macartan’s Monaghan – co-founders of the prestigious schools’ tournament.
St. Colman’s will pit their wits against St. Patrick’s Maghera – conquerors of champions St. Michael’s Enniskillen in the quarter-finals – in the other semi-final tie.
The winners of the two games will line up against each other in the St. Patrick’s Day showpiece.
