Jamie Clarke has dealt a major blow to Crossmaglen as he is set to miss the club’s Championship campaign.
Clarke, 25, is set to up sticks and move to Spain for six months which could mean he misses a chunk of Armagh’s 2015 league campaign.
However, this is not unfamiliar territory for the reigning Armagh champions as Clarke was again absent throughout the club’s run to the Ulster quarter-finals in 2013.
Cross’ begin their championship campaign against Sarsfields in the Athletic Grounds this Sunday evening which will be the second of a Live double-header screened by Armagh TV.
