Armagh Ladies convincingly saw off the challenge of Monaghan at the Athletic Grounds on Saturday to reach the All-Ireland quarter finals.
It was comfortable for Armagh in the end as Aimee Mackin chipped in with four points while Niamh Coleman and Blaithin Mackin bagged the first half goals which put daylight between the sides.
Captain Kelly Mallon converted four frees for good measure.
While Armagh only managed to score three points after the break, it mattered little as they kept the Farney county at bay for the entire second half.
The Orchard, who finished runners-up in their group, behind All-Ireland champions Meath, can now look forward to a tussle with Kerry.
