PORTADOWN’S People’s Park will come alive next Saturday with a fantastic Sports Festival offering a wide range of activities and entertainment for all the family.
The festival will be held rom 2pm to 5pm, and families are encouraged come along and join in a variety of sports including Rugby, Tennis, American Football, Soccer, Gaelic and Hurling – or if spectating is more your thing then feel free to watch the action from the sidelines!
Coaching sessions are suitable for children aged six and up but there will also be fun and games for younger children as well.
“Portadown People’s Park is the perfect arena for a Sports Festival and we look forward to seeing people from Portadown coming down and getting involved,” commented Councillor Paul Duffy, Chair of Leisure Services Committee.
“Everything is free so what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than with your family, having fun in this stunning park.”
Refreshments will be provided for all participants and a DJ will be playing some cool music to keep the energy levels up!
