Young swimmers from Co Armagh were part of an Ulster Schools Swimming team that enjoyed a weekend of training in the London Olympic’s Aquatic Centre recently.
Ciaran Deasy , John Donnelly , and Molly Ryan (pictured), who all attend St Patrick’s High school in Keady, were selected to represent their school by Ulster Schools Swimming after competing in the Schools swimming Gala earlier in the year.
The trip involved an exciting weekend to London and the swimmers got a chance to train in the 50-metre Olympic-sized pool.
A fantastic opportunity for these young swimmers who enjoy the experience and enjoy building new friendships with other swimmers from across Northern Ireland.
In total 23 took part in this well organised-event. The group spent two nights in London and enjoyed some shopping and sightseeing, which was enjoyed by all who participate in this event.
