A large-scale emergency operation is underway in a Tyrone town this morning (Saturday) after a lorry crashed into a building.
Early reports indicate it was a concrete mixer that crashed into the property situated along the Main Street in Pomeroy.
Police, ambulance and fire crews have all been despatched to the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “Motorists are advised that Main Street, Pomeroy, is currently closed after a lorry has collided with a building in the area.
“Please seek alternative route for your journey.”
Update: It is understood one casualty has been taken to hospital by ambulance; others treated for shock following the incident which involved a residential building.
