Creatures of the night, join getactiveabc for a dazzling extravaganza of ‘Fireworks at the Lakes’ (Thursday October 31, 7:30pm) at South Lake Leisure Centre!
Watch in awe as the night sky illuminates with a thrilling display of vibrant colours, against the backdrop of the South Lake, sure to leave you spellbound!
This is a FREE family-friendly event and everyone is encouraged to dress up – this is the one night of the year you can get into costume and be someone (or something!) you’re not so why not go all out spooky, bewitching, Disney princess, superhero, musical icon or creepy creature!
South Lake Leisure Centre will close to the public at 4pm and the car park will close at 3pm on Thursday October 31.
Parking is available for visitors at various locations near South Lake Leisure Centre, including Lidl, Omniplex Cinema, Tesco Extra, Marlborough Retail, Marlborough House and Rushmere Shopping Centre.
Accessible parking at South Lake Leisure Centre for disabled badge holders and those with sensory requirements is now fully booked.
Toilet facilities are situated at Rushmere Shopping centre and temporary toilets will be available outside South Lake Leisure Centre (Changing Places facilities are available inside the leisure centre).
Fuel up and stay warm with hot food and drinks at the Café Incredable BBQ, operating from 6pm outside the leisure centre. The Café Incredable (indoor café) will close at 7pm.
The fireworks display begins at 7.30pm and visitors are encouraged to be on site at least ten minutes before the show begins.
