BRASSNECK Theatre Company, the company who brought you the sell-out ‘A Night With George’, return to The Market Place Theatre in Armagh with ‘The Sweety Bottle’.
It’s the height of the troubles. Upstairs from popular confectionery shop ‘The Sweety Bottle’, operates an even more popular drinking den. This shebeen is a place where punters come to escape the troubles around them and also to exercise their own personal demons.
Through the many huge characters and calamitous incidents, embark with us on a voyage to an era where the city and its people never ceased to find humour in even the darkest of days. A hilariously nostalgic trip down memory lane, ‘The Sweety Bottle’ is sure to have you crying with laughter as we remember everything that was good about Belfast during the rare auld times.
‘The Sweety Bottle’ will be staged at The Market Place on Friday 5th April at 8pm. Tickets are priced £14.50 and £12.50 (concession), and can be booked by contacting the Box Office on [028] 3752 1821, or online at www.marketplacearmagh.com.
