Immersive sensory experience Thaw designed to engage youths with learning disability

‘Thaw’ is designed specifically for young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities with the optimal age range of 5-18.

Thaw, written by Fionnuala Kennedy and directed by Andrew Stanford, is an immersive, sensory theatre experience where audiences are at the centre of a mysterious, ice adventure.

Scientists and adventurers are brought together on a voyage to The Great Icefort Territories.

Thaw is a once-in-a-lifetime expedition with the elusive but brilliant professor, Julia Anjo, a climate change pioneer. But what will happen when they discover the professor’s real reason for embarking on this perilous journey?

Only the very curious explorers need apply!

‘Thaw’ is designed specifically for young people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities with the optimal age range of 5-18. This production is delivered by expert inclusive performers to up to 6 young audience members per show, plus one adult companion.
