Camlough Heritage Society has extended an invitation to all for a quiz night in memory of the late Emmett Byrne.
The former teacher in St Peter’s Primary School was a well- loved active member of the local community who held positions as secretary in the Camlough Heritage Society, and former secretary of Shane O’Neill’s GAA Club and the Camloch Seamus Steele Cumann.
All proceeds from this annual charity event will this year go to local ‘athletes’ Larry McCabe and Pat McGinn’s Southern Area Hospice Great North Run Fundraiser.
The event will take place at Doyles Bar Camlough on Friday, June 23, at 9pm.
