Acknowledgement for the late Kay Matthews (Lurgan)

Matthews, Kay.

The family of the late Kay Matthews R.I.P, Lurgan, wish to acknowledge and thank all those who offered sympathy, helped and supported us during our recent bereavement. We especially thank all our cousins and friends who helped during Mum’s wake.

For all those who kept us in their thoughts and prayers, called to our house, attended Mum’s funeral, sent cards, or assisted in any way. Your love and support have provided us with great comfort at this time of profound loss for our family.

Special thanks to Father Kingsley Idoghor for all his support and for the beautiful Mass, Barry Mulholland who read the homily about Mum and Philip Hamill who read the reflection.
To all the readers, Ursula Waite, Margaret Hanna, Hannah Lambert, Emma Hamill, Maria Magennis and Colleen Fox, to the Sacristans for their assistance during Mass.

To Mum’s grandchildren for the presentation of Life Gifts, Ellie-May Evans and Lily McKeown the Offertory Gifts, Cáit Hamill and Molly-Kate McKeown. Additionally we would like to thank Niamh Murray for her beautiful singing and music.

Our heartfelt thanks goes to all those who cared for Mum. Domiciliary Care workers, Manor Court Fold, Daisy Hill, Lurgan and Craigavon Hospitals and special thanks to Dr Micheal McDonald – Wynne Hill Surgery for the time he spent looking after Mum.

Thank you also to McAlinden and Murtagh Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements and to the gravedigger for preparing Mum’s final resting place.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgements will be accepted by all as an expression of our sincere appreciation and gratitude,

Mum’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 17, at 10am in St Paul’s Church, Lurgan.
