Acknowledgement for the late Martin McNamee (Aughnagurgan)

McNamee, Martin. The wife, sons and daughters of the late Martin McNamee (Aughnagurgan) wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them during their sad loss. To all our wonderful and supportive family, friends and neighbours whose help was invaluable over the wake and funeral.

To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards and gifts of food and floral tributes, telephoned or sent messages of sympathy all of which were a tremendous source of solace to us. To the many people who helped during the wake especially those who provided the lighting and marquee, those who made and served refreshments and to all those who taxied people to and from the house we offer our heartfelt thanks.

Our thanks to the Very Rev Fr Greg Carvill who celebrated a very fitting and beautiful funeral mass and to Rev Fr Desmond Corrigan for concelebrating. Thanks to Noel and Patrica for preparing the church and to The Gribben Sisters for the beautiful singing and music.

We thank the medical and nursing staff of Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area Hospitals, the Cancer Centre at Belfast City Hospital, the staff of Willowbank Surgery, McKeevers Chemist and to the Keady District Nursing Team.

To Granemore GAC for the use of their hall and to Ellen and staff for the lovely food and excellent service for the post burial refreshments.

Special thanks to Mone Funeral Directors for the professional dignified manner the funeral arrangements were carried out and especially Bridget for her support and kindness to the family.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude.

Martin’s month mind mass will be held in St Mary’s Church Granemore on Tuesday March 21, at 7:30pm.
