GetactiveABC: Cracking fun activities for young people this Easter

Across the borough, kids will be springing into action this Easter thanks to exciting multi-sports camps and fishing and gymnastics coaching courses.

There will also be Easter eggs-traordinaire family fun in Dromore and Rathfriland where your own little rabbits can spring and hop on bouncy inflatables, take part in an Easter egg hunt and cherish a moment with a photo opportunity alongside Mr Bunny.

Little ones are in for a treat thanks to a jam-packed programme of Easter multi-sports camps across the borough, delivered by a team of highly qualified and experienced sports coaches. Carefully planned, the camps will cater for all abilities and ensure every child has a positive experience.

During a session, your child will take part in fun games and team challenges, with plenty of opportunity to interact with others through sports.

Therefore, if your child isn’t going with friends, they’ll be sure to come away with new ones!

With blossoming flowers, warmer days and bustling wildlife, Easter is a fantastic time to explore the beautiful local countryside and the Dromore Easter Fishing Camp aims to start the younger generation on their journey towards a love of the great outdoors and one of our most popular pastimes!

One of our best-loved traditions, grab a basket and see how many chocolate eggs you can find on the Rathfriland and Dromore Easter egg hunts before bouncing like a bunny on the inflatables and meeting Mr Bunny to show him your basket!

There will be other egg-citing opportunities to hop into Easter and keep the family entertained at Craigavon Golf & Ski Centre, South Lake Watersports, Craigavon and an ‘egg-xtra’ special Lord Mayor’s Easter Egg Trail at Palace Demense, Armagh.
