
Business owners in Armagh are being warned about a man handing over counterfeit currency in the city this morning (Friday).
Officers in the area have been alerted by one business who were handed a counterfeit £20 Bank of Scotland note.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Please be on the look out for a male with a southern accent, thin build with a slight beard wearing a purple checked shirt and green trousers.
“This man passed a counterfeit Bank of Scotland £20 in Armagh at 10:15am this morning.”
