A firearm and ammunition have been discovered at a property just off the Armagh Road in Moy.
Police and forensic officers descended on the derelict ruins, along the main Armagh-Moy Road, where they made the discovery earlier this morning (Thursday).
The operation was ongoing for a number of hours and with a large response team in situ.
A police spokesperson told Armagh I: “Police carried out a search at the Armagh Road area of Moy this morning (Thursday, April 15), after a firearm and a quantity of ammunition were located in the area.
“Nothing further was found during the search operation.”
The operation took a number of hours before the scene was cleared.
There were no reports of any arrests, however, investigations are ongoing.
