Businesses and shops across the Borough have been benefitting thanks to the shopfront grant scheme.
And council officials have been keen to showcase the work, which has gone into the improvements works.
An illustrated report was brought before councillors earlier this month to highlight how the scheme has improved streets across the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area.
The cash incentive schemes to help business owners enhance the appearance of their properties opened towards the end of 2016 – and council put their weight behind them.
Applicants were able to apply for 50 per cent of the cost of the work involved – with grants available up to a maximum of £1,500.
The aim was to reduce the detrimental impact of empty units and dereliction in Armagh City Centre and other towns and villages in the council area.
The Council got behind the schemes because they said “in turn it make our towns and villages more attractive for people to shop, visit and invest”.
