A large concrete block was used to smash into a house in Armagh yesterday (Tuesday) evening.
Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of a burglary at a residential premises in the Neill’s Avenue area of Loughgilly.
At approximately 8.20pm on Tuesday, police received the report of a break in at a residential premises in the Neill’s Avenue area of Armagh.
Entry was gained to the premises via the rear patio doors which appear to have been smashed with a large concrete block.
As a result the property was ransacked.
Constable Jay Slevin said: “We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Armagh Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 1024 on 24/01/17.
“Or, alternatively if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
