Businesses in The Shambles area of Armagh have been given a boost with the inclusion of a funfair this Georgian weekend.
Previously, businesses in the Lower English Street/Cathedral Road area of the city have felt a little left out as Georgian Day celebrations focused elsewhere.
However, this Friday and Saturday, Murray’s Funfair will operate at the Shambles Yard.
Councillors Sarah Duffy and Thomas O’Hanlon had been working behind the scenes to make sure this part of Armagh was involved in some capacity.
Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council which ensures that all parts of our City is included in the festivities this year,” said Councillor Duffy.
