A man has been arrested and the lorry he was driving seized in Armagh.
Detectives from Organised Crime Branch have charged the 28-year-old man to appear in court after a lorry he was driving was stopped and searched on the Markethill Road, Armagh, on Thursday.
The lorry, and approximately €20,000 cash found inside the lorry, have been seized by police as part of the investigation.
The man has been charged with a number of offences including handling stolen goods, possessing criminal property, fraudulently using vehicle registration mark and using a motor vehicle without insurance.
He is due to appear at Armagh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, May 30.
As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
