Police attended the sudden death of a guest at Armagh City Hotel on Friday morning.
A cordon was put in place at the top of steps close to the front entrance of the hotel.
A spokesperson for the hotel said: “We regret to confirm a guest passed away at our hotel on Thursday night/Friday morning. Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones at this difficult time.
“We are working closely with the PSNI to assist in their investigation. As this matter is ongoing, we are not in a position to provide further details.”
A police spokesperson said: “Police attended the scene of a sudden death in the Friary Road area of Armagh on Friday 10th April. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.”
