Almost 700 burglaries have been reported across Co Armagh alone this year.
A total of 666 incidents have been recorded by police up until the end of November, with figures for the final month of the year yet to be released.
Worryingly, the vast majority of those incidents occurred in the latter half of 2017, with 97 reported burglaries in November.
The Armagh City policing district, which incorporates areas like Keady, Markethill and Tandragee, saw more burglaries in November (35) than the entire first four months of the year combined (31).

A total of 170 burglaries in this area was reported from January through to November.
There were 99 incidents in south Armagh with January (16), February (21) and November (13) the three highest months of the year.
Pre and post summer saw an evidential dip in recorded burglaries in mid and south Armagh, with May (15) and September (12) considerably lower than June (29), July (29) and August (32).
Meanwhile, the Lurgan policing district, which also includes Portadown, Craigavon and Banbridge saw a staggering 397 reported burglary cases in the first 11 months of the year.
Again, the worst month was November (49) with January coming in second (45), however, unlike the rest of the county, these areas saw only 14 recorded incidents in August.
