Four people have been charged with a catalogue of offences after police seized an array of weapons in Banbridge on Monday.
Three of those charged will appear in court later today (Tuesday).
Between the four, the accused face a total of two assault charges, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, two disorderly behavior charges, five charges of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, theft, criminal damage and two charges of possession of a prohibited weapon.
In addition, the PSNI returned to the Limewood area of Banbridge overnight and seized more weapons.
Investigations continue into those seizures.
The police operation has involved three response sections and their sergeants, crews from Banbridge, Lurgan, Armagh and Newry, two inspectors, two tactical support units, air support, an armed response unit, volume crime support team, custody sergeants and custody officers.
But police say it has been worth it, stating: “The end result is a lot of weapons off the street and a handful of charge sheets – all collated by our investigating officer who is going to enjoy his well earned days off!”
They added: “We will not tolerate violent crime such as this in our patch. It has no place in society. A massive thank you to those who have phoned us to report these incidents over the past 24 hours or so. Please- continue to do so. Thank you!”
