Man airlifted to hospital after being ‘gored by bull’

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being gored by a bull.

The incident happened at Dromore, Co Down, this morning (Saturday).

Emergency services attended the scene and the Northern Air Ambulance Service was also tasked.

Local DUP Councillor Paul Rankin said the NI Ambulance had landed in First Dromore Presbyterian Church car park, at Diamond Road in the town.

It is understood the man is from the Dromore area.

Mr Rankin, commenting on social media, said his prayers were with the man at this time.

There are no further details at present.
